Extremely Funny

Having seen other college co-eds raise funds for special causes, a few students from the Nursing Program at Dedecus College decided to try their hands at fund-raising themselves.

Kelly Feelgoode and Samantha Shivago, both seniors at the school, helped kickoff the school’s annual “Nutsack Awareness Week” with an event that would put most car washes to shame.

The girls were surprised by the support of not only the student body, but the support they received from members of the faculty. Dr. Peter Pedis, a professor in the Podiatry Department appeared anxious for his own examination, and when asked by members of the press about his opinion on such activity, he was quoted as saying:

“These students are our future, and we should support them in all of their endeavors. I’ve been encouraging other students to lend a helping hand with this campaign.”

Having raised over $100,000 within a few short hours, the first stage of the awareness program is considered a success. The students are looking at taking their campaign off-campus in order to build more awareness amongst the surrounding community.

In other news, other departments within the institution are considering similar fund-raising ventures in the near-future. Interest has been most notable amongst the students in both the Gynecological and Proctological Departments. More news on this as it develops.
