Like most kids, I was always amazed by the cool superpowers that my favorite comic book heroes had. I often imagined it would be cool to be able to fly or have super strength. As I grew older and saw many of my favorite superheroes and supervillians find their way onto the big screen, it also occurred to me that many of those real neat powers could be used in some very naughty ways. Magazine subscriptions seem to be common amongst groups looking for an easy fundraiser, as well as those looking for a simple job and looking to make a few extra bucks. However, mistakes will happen. The magazines mentioned by a phone solicitor end up completely different from what you were looking for. Sometimes it can be a simple clerical error, but sometimes magazine titles are so similar sounding, mistakes are going to happen. For those of you confused by the title of this post, let me clarify.
The number 420 is synonymous with the canabis culture. April 20th (often referred to as “4/20″ or “420″ as well) has evolved into a day where people gather to celebrate and consume cannabis, and celebrate its existence.
Apparently, today also marks Adolph Hitler’s 120th Birthday.
As one occasion involves involves smoking weed, while the other involves the birth of a sadistic bastard who tried to eradicate a whole race of people, it is probably not a good idea to get the two confused. Although, dubious amounts of marijuana may cause you to forget certain details.
