Movie Sequels I’d Like To See

Hollywood sometimes has a tendency to try and reproduce the same formula over and over again when a successful movie is made.  This can mean picking up a second film, creating a trilogy or in some cases producing a whole slew of direct-to-DVD films based on a once successful movie franchise.

There are occasionally movies that get written that never see the light of day as the original actors or production team don’t feel it makes the grade.  Here are three examples of films that should produce a sequel and what needs to be done to make it work.

Kids Have It So Easy Nowadays

I remember listening to stories from my grandparents (and some of my friend’s grandparents) about how hard it was being a kid in their time.  Walking five miles barefoot in the snow to get to school.  Working the coalmines at the age of eight to help feed their sixteen brothers and sisters.  Killing off Nazis at the age of twelve.  They seemed to have a pretty tough life.

Being a child who grew up in the seventies and eighties, I pretty much had free reign and often wondered what I’d tell my grandchildren of my hardships.  Now in my mid-thirties, I can now see how hard I had it compared to kids today.
