Some Dog Breeds Shouldn’t Mate

With the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show underway, it occurred to me that some of the breeds are of dogs are quite beautiful creatures, while others….well…not so much.
And because of this, it dawned on me that certain breeds of dogs shouldn’t mix. Sure, sometime you see the mixed breed mutt that seems so cute, but then again, you never know.

My first example is the Poodle. A proud show dog, this breed’s hair is often styled in various fashions for public display. On the opposite end, you have the Pug, with its small wrinkly face. Bred together, we have ourselves, a Puddle.

The Boxer is a popular show breed originally developed in Germany (mixing a Bulldog with the now extinct Bullenbeisser) and is a stocky, medium-sized, short-haired dog.
Add to the mix, the controversial American Pitbull Terrier, a breed of terrier originally developed for sport. Bull baiting was a blood sport originating in England where the dogs were trained to attack the bull. In time, as bull baiting became illegal, the breed would turn to dogfighting. In order to make our special super-breed, most effective, we will also incorporate another breed of terrier, the Yorkshire Terrier. The Yorkie (as it is also known as) is a popular show breed, known for its long blue and tan hair, and small body.
With the combination of the three breeds in the mix, I proudly present to you, the Yorkshire Pit Fighter.
