Some People Shouldn’t Play Rock, Paper, Scissors

At some point as a kid, you find yourself travelling with family, and being asked to play quietly.  With little to no resources, someone likely introduced you to this fun little game.  Simple enough rules: after counting to three you either balled your hand into a fist (rock), had your hand open palm down (paper), or held your pinkie and ring finger down with your thumb (scissors).

Rock beats scissors.

Scissors cuts paper.

Paper covers rock.

You can’t get much simpler than that.

Yet you still come across people that you should never challenge to a game.

Person 1: The literal type
“Well yes, that is a very nice rock, but your still aren’t allowed to hit my hands with it.”
Rock beats scissors

Person 2: The indecisive type
“I keep telling you, that you can’t be half-rock, half-paper.”
Half Rock - Half Paper

Type 3: The dim type
“And what is that supposed to be a lighter or a hand-grenade?”
Lighter or Hand Grenade?

Type 4: The non-human type
“I don’t even wanna guess what that’s supposed to be.”
Questionable Move

Type 5: The physically challenged
“Maybe try the other hand, Captain.”
Hook Beats Scissors

Type 6: The Jackass
“Just shoot me already.”
Gun Beats All
