I believe the Disney-ABC Television Group is missing out on some great opportunities, by limiting their audience with only kids’ programming on their Disney branded channels. Much like The Cartoon Network has their Adult Swim programming block, Disney could benefit from programming aimed at its adult audience but under the Disney brand.  Here are my suggestions for the proposed Disney After Dark programming block.

The Women Of Daytime Television

Playboy has been highly successful in selling magazines that follow a certain theme. The Women of Wal-Mart, the Women of McDonalds and the Women Of Starbucks are just a few examples. However, when Playboy approached the various TV networks about doing a Women of Network News pictorial, the parties they were most interested in declined. When discussions began about doing a feature on the Women of Daytime Television, most were skeptical, but a few anxious bodies volunteered for the shoot.

Julie Chen, a co-anchor on CBS’s The Early Show, Kathy Lee Gifford from NBC’s Today Show, Elisabeth Hasselbeck from ABC’s The View and Ellen Degeneres have all taken part in this historic photoshoot.
