My Pitch To the Cable TV Networks

I think I have a pretty good grasp on what the general public enjoys. And with the various cable outlets trying to entice you to watch their newest and latest offerings, I thought it only suitable to pitch a couple of my ideas.

Pimp My Nun

MTV found great success in the vehicular makeover show, Pimp My Ride. Following the successful formula, it only makes sense that the next big thing would be to overhaul something near and dear to all our hearts…Nuns. No longer should a nun be looked upon as vicious and mean. The credo for this show is to take the “con” out of “convent”, and put the “sizzle” back into “sister”. Noone can dispute the joy is watching Sister Hattie transformed into “Sister Hottie”.

Freak Of Love

Both Flavor Flav and Bret Michaels showed a new side of themselves with their breakthrough hits on VH1 (Flavor of Love and Rock of Love and respectively). This time, its Brian Hugh Warner’s turn. Warner, known to most as shock rocker Marilyn Manson, is torn between his two dream girls, pop singer/former reality show starlet Jessica Simpson, and sex kitten actress Cameron Diaz.

Who doesn’t want to see Manson try to align himself and find love from one of “The Beautiful People”?

Drunk Girls Caught On Tape

Outside of airing reruns for cult hits like CSI and Star Trek, SpikeTV has been home to shows featuring police car chases, criminals caught in awkward positions and other programming featuring amateur video clips of shocking and titillating events. If you want to understand the premise for this show, look at the picture above. Enough said.
